Literature Works are a series of collages and drawings that use language as material.
The collages are made by cutting up the pages of books and reconstructing them so that they are unreadable in their original form. Instead, when seen from a distance, they form flat fields and abstractions; when viewed close up they become ever shifting constellations of fragments.
The drawings are made by writing and re-writing texts over and over again until they become unreadable as recognizable language. Like the collages, these works ask the viewer to ponder the space between meaning and its absence.
